Silver shark knife. is a small team dedicated to producing the most trusted kitchen
knives available. Our work combines premium materials, traditional technique, and
indian heirloom craftsmanship. We manufacture and sharpen each knife by hand in
VERAVAL(SHAPAR), GUJRAT, INDIA.

Sanjaybhai K Korat, Parthbhai A Korat . FOUNDER

Sanjay Korat and Parth Korat, two brothers, started a partnership in 2016 to make steel knives in a small house under the name Silver Shark. After that, they made their own machine and took the work forward with more accuracy. Parth Bhai was working in a casting company. He left that job and both the brothers started this work and after a long struggle of 9 years, 2024 they succeeded in building a big company. Unfortunately, Sanjay Bhai passed away, after which his son Aryan s Korat took over the company in partnership with Parth Bhai.

In 2016, in a small house, these two brothers started making steel knives with a small investment of Rs 60,000 and by making their own machine. They faced many difficulties in this, like lockdown, note ban, Covid-19, war, but they continued to do so. At that time, they used to make 8-inch, 9-inch pillar knives and chef knives. We saw that no one in the market was making full steel knives. All the full steel knives that are available in India are Chinese knives. So, we started making full steel knives in India with this idea. Now we are the only company in India that manufactures full steel knives. “MAKE IN INDIA”

How We Started

Seeing what was available, we were frustrated to see that there were no high quality kitchen knives widely
available when we knew that we already have the capability of making true modern heirloom cutlery made
exclusively in India. Our first knife, the 8” Chef Knife, was released in 2021. Quickly, we received
positive reviews from customers, chefs and the media. We continue to expand, and currently offer a full
set of handcrafted carbon steel cutlery with five essential kitchen knives.
